Requirements
To set up UniFi Talk, you’ll need:
- A UniFi Console that supports the UniFi Talk application.

Subscription Locked:
- Must be assigned to a user with a unique, personal UniFi Talk number.
- Requires an active internet connection to function.

Subscription Unlocked:
- Recommended for shared numbers (e.g., group configurations).
- Can operate without a Talk subscription for internal calls only (at no cost).

Setting Up Your UniFi Talk System
To get started with UniFi Talk:

Set Up Your UniFi Console:
Ensure that your UniFi Console is set up and running UniFi Talk. To view installed applications, click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar and select Control Plane. Refer to How to Set Up UniFi for more details. -
Adopt Your UniFi Talk Phones:
- Connect each phone to a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) port for power and network connectivity.
- Open UniFi Talk on your console and navigate to the Devices section.
- Select each connected phone and click Adopt to begin managing it.

(Optional) Transfer Your Existing Phone Number:
