Managing Voicemails and Call Recordings in UniFi Talk

UniFi Talk makes it easy to manage voicemail, automate call recordings, and access detailed call logs. This guide walks you through configuring voicemail, enabling call recordings, and managing call logs efficiently. Follow these steps to keep your voicemail and call recordings organized.

Voicemail Management

Listening to Voicemails

To enable voicemail please go UniFi Talk settings Voicemail section and enable feature.

To listen to your voicemails:

  • Press the Voicemail button on your Talk phone to access your messages.

Disabling Voicemail

If you prefer not to use voicemail:

  1. Go to Settings > Voicemail.
  2. Deselect Voicemail to disable it.

Automating Call Recordings

Automatically recording calls can be helpful for monitoring, quality assurance, or compliance.

To enable automatic call recordings:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Call Settings > Call Recordings & AI.
  2. Enable the Call Recording checkbox.
  3. Review the disclaimer in the advisory window, then click I Understand if you consent.

Viewing and Managing Call Logs

Your call logs provide a detailed history of every call made or received through UniFi Talk. You can also access and listen to call recordings and voicemail messages directly from the call log.

Viewing Call Logs

  1. Go to System Log > Calls to view all calls made with a device managed by UniFi Talk.
  2. To view detailed information about a specific call, either click its entry or hover over the call and click the View link.
  3. The Overview section provides essential details like caller, recipient, call score, length, date, and time.

Listening to Call Recordings and Voicemails

  1. Select a call from the log.
  2. To listen to a call recording, go to the Recording tab at the top of the Call Log's panel.
  3. To listen to a voicemail message, click Open Voicemail in the same panel.

Deleting Call Logs

If you wish to remove call logs:

  • Delete a Single Call Log:
    1. Select the desired call entry and click Delete.
    2. Confirm by clicking Delete again in the pop-up window.
  • Delete Multiple Call Logs:
    1. Select the checkboxes next to the calls you want to delete.
    2. Click the Delete button at the bottom left of the list.

Voicemail Configuration

Proper voicemail setup ensures that you can receive and manage messages effectively. Here's how to configure voicemail on various UniFi Talk devices.

Touch and Touch Max Phones

  1. From the Keypad, dial *86 or long-press 1.
  2. Follow the audio prompts to configure your voicemail.

Note: Visual voicemail configuration for Touch and Touch Max is coming soon.

Flex Phone

  1. Press the MESSAGE button to access voicemail.
  2. Follow the audio prompts to complete the voicemail configuration.
