Mounting to Windows, macOS, and Linux (SMB & NFS)
A UNAS drive can be mounted on Windows, macOS, and Linux, enabling direct file access when connected to the local network or via VPN. The setup process varies by operating system:
- Windows & macOS: Use SMB (Server Message Block) to mount drives.
- Linux: Use NFS (Network File System) to mount drives.
Local Web Access (IP Address)
Users can access files directly through a web browser by navigating to the UNAS IP address.
