Connecting UniFi Speakers to a Single UniFi PowerAmp
The UniFi PowerAmp is engineered to deliver high-fidelity audio across expansive environments. When paired with UniFi speakers, a single PowerAmp can drive up to three pairs (six speakers total).
Before setup:
- Do not connect more than four speakers to the PowerAmp unless you are using UniFi In-Ceiling or In-Wall Speakers.
- Avoid mixing third-party speakers or different models within the same setup.
- Do not wire speakers in series. This will negatively impact performance.
- Ensure all speakers are connected in parallel, as shown in the diagram below.
- Use high-quality 16 AWG (or thicker) oxygen-free copper speaker wire.
- Keep cable lengths consistent to prevent channel imbalance.
Parallel Wiring Configuration to PowerAmp
- Refer to the PowerAmp QIG for detailed connection instructions.
- To power six speakers, distribute them evenly across both channels:
- Three speakers connected in parallel to the Left channel
- Three speakers connected in parallel to the Right channel
