You can use UniFi Access Door Groups to apply different settings like personnel access restrictions and time schedules to different groups of doors.
There are two types of door groups in UniFi Access:
- System Door Group is created by the system and can't be modified. New doors are automatically added to the System group.
- Custom Door Groups are managed by Access admins.
To manage Door Groups, you need active Owner, Super Admin or Limited Admin permissions.
Add a Door Group
You can add new door groups by visiting the Elements > Door Groups page and clicking Add Door Group.
When adding a new door group, you can specify its name and assign new doors to it using Search Doors.
Edit a Door Group
You can edit door groups via the Elements > Door Groups page.
Delete a Door Group
You can delete door groups via the Elements > Door Groups page.
Select the door group that needs to deleted and click Delete.
