UniFi VoIP - How to Delete Device Data


This article describes how an administrator can delete data from their UniFi VoIP phones. It is important to note that personal data may be collected by third parties that are not affiliated with Ubiquiti Networks, such as your PBX vendor and Google (Android). Effective as of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a privacy regulation that aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal data in the EU and harmonize EU data protection laws. Besides strengthening and standardizing data privacy across the EU nations, it will require new or additional obligations on all organizations that handle EU citizens’ personal data.

To ensure all data on the device is completely deleted, please factory reset your device. This will clear all data associated with it. You can then unadopt it from the UniFi VoIP Controller.
