WiFi Agent Features and Behavior
The WiFi Agent includes a network analyzer and offers troubleshooting suggestions to the most common WiFi issues. WiFi Agent Troubleshooting section gives general advice for most common WiFi problems like slow WiFi, issues with Conference Calls, frequent disconnects or devices being unable to connect to your WiFi. You are able to see the status of most common situations like:
- ISP Overview: Internet disruptions are often caused by instability in your Internet Service Provider's connection.
- APs Need Updating: More often than not, outdated firmware can lead to connectivity or performance issues for your wireless clients.
- APs Offline: When some access points go offline, your WiFi coverage can suffer, leading to dead zones or weak signals.
- WPA3 Only: SSIDs set to WPA3-only mode may not be compatible with lower-performance devices such as IoT clients.
- Manually Selected Channel: Our automatic channel selection is designed to choose the least congested channels to optimize performance. Enable automatic channel selection for improved connectivity and overall network efficiency.
- MLO Enabled: Although MLO (Multi-Link Operation) enhances throughput for high-performance devices, it may cause connectivity issues with older WiFi clients.
