UniFi Identity Endpoint User Guide (Identity Hub)
The UniFi Identity Endpoint App allows you to securely and easily connect to your organization’s WiFi, VPN, and (if available) Smart Door Access—all in one place.
This guide will walk you through how to get started, sign in, and troubleshoot common issues. If you run into any problems, your IT administrator is your best point of contact.
Before You Begin
Your organization’s IT team must first invite you and configure the system. Once you’ve received your invitation email, you’re ready to continue.
Note: Smart Door Access is only available on mobile devices (iOS and Android).
How to Sign In
- Open your invitation email from your organization and click Get Started.
- You’ll be redirected to the setup page.
- If you are not prompted to download the Identity Endpoint app automatically, you can click download UniFi Identity Endpoint to download it manually:

Sign in using one of these methods:

Method 1
- On the invitation page, click “click here” to sign in.

- Open the Identity Endpoint App.
- Tap Sign In to Your Organization.
- Enter your organization’s domain, which is included in your invitation email (e.g., your-org.ui.com).

- You’ll be redirected to your organization’s SSO login page (like Microsoft or Google).
- Enter your SSO username and password, and complete any multi-factor authentication (MFA) if prompted.
Troubleshooting Tips
“This sign-in request could not be processed”
Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Identity Endpoint App. If the problem continues, contact your IT administrator.
The app requests a verification code
Contact your IT administrator to verify your organization’s Identity Provider settings.
Account No Longer Available
Contact your IT administrator. Your device or account may have been deactivated, or your organization settings may have changed.
Microsoft sign-in error: AADSTS700016
Contact your IT administrator. They should confirm the Entity ID and Reply URL (ACS URL) in Identity Hub match those in Microsoft Entra.
Google sign-in error: app_not_configured_for_user
Contact your IT administrator. They should:
- Ensure that you are signed in with the correct account.
- Ensure that you are assigned to the Identity Hub app in Google Admin Console>Web and mobile apps>Custom app>Service status.
- Ensure that the Identifier (Entity ID) and Reply URL (ACS URL) in Identity Hub Settings match the configurations in your Google application registration.

What Happens Next
After signing in, you can use the Identity Endpoint App to:
- Instantly connect to your organization’s WiFi and VPN, based on your assigned permissions
- Unlock doors using your phone, if Smart Door Access is enabled by your organization
