UniFi Access - Mobile Unlock Configuration
Mobile Unlock uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to let users unlock doors effortlessly with their phone or watch. It includes two convenient features:
- Mobile Button: Unlock doors by tapping a button on Identity Endpoint for mobile.
- Mobile Tap: Unlock doors by tapping a phone directly against a reader.

Requirements
- UniFi OS 4.1 or later
- Access application 2.5.2 or later
- User's Identity Endpoint for mobile
Configuring Mobile Unlock
- Update UniFi by navigating to UniFi OS > Settings > Control Plane > Updates.
- Enable Identity Endpoint by following the steps here. Ensure to include Smart Door Access in the enabled services.
- Proceed to the Assign Permissions to Users section of the article above to onboard users to Identity Endpoint.
- Users will receive an onboarding email or link. Once onboarded, they can unlock doors from their Identity Endpoint for mobile. For more information, see our detailed Mobile Unlock User's Guide.
