UniFi Protect Alarm Manager

UniFi Protect’s Alarm Manager lets you set up customizable alerts to secure your environment, with powerful options like webhooks and AI-powered detection. From face and license plate recognition to vehicle and person detection, Alarm Manager allows you to stay informed on key events in real time. Make sure you’re on the latest version of UniFi Protect to access the newest features, including doorbell and NFC-based alerts.

Configure Alarms

To view or set up alarms, go to Protect > Alarm Manager. Select an existing alarm or create a new one with these customizable options:

• Trigger: Choose the type of detection to trigger the alarm (e.g., face, sound, license plate).
• Schedule: Set times for the alarm to be active, such as only during business hours.
• Target Device: Select the UniFi Protect device(s) that will register detections.
• Action: Decide how to receive notifications, including push, email, or webhook integrations.

Tip: Fine-tune alerts based on zones or times to maximize relevance and minimize noise.

• Push Notifications: Instant alerts to your mobile device.
• Email Alerts: Send alerts to multiple email addresses.
• Door Unlocks: Unlock specific doors based on triggers.
• Floodlight Activation: Enable floodlights to deter intrusions.
• Webhooks: Integrate UniFi alarms with other platforms for seamless automation.
