UID Enterprise - Add YouTrack as an SSO App

Once YouTrack is added as an SSO app, users can sign in to YouTrack using their UID Enterprise credentials, and you can securely manage their access and lifecycle within UID Enterprise.

Add YouTrack to UID Enterprise

1. Go to your UID Enterprise Manager > SSO Apps.
2. Click the Add icon in the upper right corner and select YouTrack.
3. Click Add. The sign-on URL, issuer, and fingerprint will be displayed. Keep this page open as you will need to paste the information to YouTrack later.

Configure SSO in YouTrack

1. Sign in to your YouTrack Standalone instance and go to Settings > Access Management > Auth Modules. 
2. Click New Module and select SAML 2.0 from the drop-down list.
3. Enter the IdP name (e.g., UID Enterprise).
4. Fill in the following fields using the information obtained in Step 3 of "Add YouTrack to UID Enterprise."
   • SAML SSO URL: Paste the sign-on URL from UID Enterprise.
   • IdP entity ID: Paste the issuer from UID Enterprise.
   • Certificate fingerprint: Paste the fingerprint from Identity Enterprise.
5. Click Create. The YouTrack SP entity ID and ACS URL will be displayed. Keep this page open as you will need to paste the information to Identity Enterprise later.

Configure the YouTrack SSO Settings in UID Enterprise

1. Navigate back to the Add YouTrack page on UID Enterprise Manager and scroll down to the Settings section.
2. Name the app (e.g., YouTrack).
3. Fill in the SAML default relay state, if needed. This is the destination to which users will be redirected after completing authentication at the Identity Provider (IdP).
4. Paste the SP entity ID and Single Sign-On URL (ACS URL) obtained in Step 5 of "Configure SSO in YouTrack."

5. Click Add.
