UniFi Connect - Lutron Processor Integration
UniFi Connect integrates seamlessly with Lutron processors, letting you manage lighting, shading, and keypad devices effortlessly. No need to switch apps—control your smart devices easily via the Connect web application or mobile app.

- Additionally: Ensure the Lutron Processor and UniFi Console are connected to the same LAN. This enables the discovery of Lutron processors by UniFi Console.
Pairing Lutron Processors with Connect
Once your Lutron processor and UniFi Console are on the same LAN, you can pair them using one of the two methods detailed below.
Auto Detection and Pairing
This method applies to all supported Lutron processor models.
- The Lutron processor will be automatically discovered and ready to adopt.
- Click Pair.
- Select a method based on your processor model:
- For HomeWorks QSX or RadioRA3, press the Access Button on the processor to complete the security check.
- For HomeWorks QS or RadioRA2, enter the Telnet username and password for authentication. Click Enter.
- If you don't know the credentials, contact your Lutron installer for assistance.
- For HomeWorks QSX or RadioRA3, press the Access Button on the processor to complete the security check.
- The processor will be automatically adopted and all wired lighting, shading, and keypad devices will be displayed in Smart IoT > All Devices.
Manual Pairing of HomeWorks QS or RadioRA2 Processor
This method applies to HomeWorks QS or RadioRA2 processors if the console does not automatically detect them.
- Navigate to UniFi OS > Settings > Integrations > Manual Pairing with Legacy Systems.
- Enter the Lutron processor's IP address to link with Connect. Click Pair.
- Enter the Telnet username and password for authentication. Click Enter.
- If you don't know the credentials, contact your Lutron installer for assistance.
- The processor will be automatically adopted and all wired lighting, shading, and keypad devices will be displayed in Smart IoT > All Devices.
Managing Smart Devices
Once the Lutron processor has been paired with the console, you can start managing the lighting, shading, and keypad devices.
- Navigate to UniFi OS > Smart IoT > All Devices and click Lights, Shades, or Pads.
- Select a device and do the following:
- Navigate to Overview to control the device.
- Navigate to Automations to create automations for device actions, like opening shades during the day.
- Navigate to Settings to edit its name and group.
Note: For lighting control, full-color tuning is unavailable for older HomeWorks QS projects with Ketra integration.
