UniFi VoIP - How to Perform a Factory Reset from Recovery Mode


This article describes how to reset your UniFi VoIP phone back to factory defaults from recovery mode.

How to Perform Reset

1. Enter Recovery Mode. When powering on your UVP, take the handset off the hook and press and hold the mute button until you see the recovery mode screen. 

2. Upon reaching the recovery mode menu, you will have to press the mute key to navigate downward in the menu. Once you reach the option "wipe data/factory reset" place the handset back in place, hanging up, then pick it up once more.

3. Navigate down the menu again to the "yes wipe all user data" option by clicking the mute key again then hanging the handset back up.

4. After the phone has reset pick up the handset and put it back on the hook to select the option "reboot system now". Once the UVP reboots, your device should be factory reset.
