NFC Cards
- To use third-party NFC cards:
- UniFi Access: Enable "Allow third-party NFC cards" in your Access application > Settings > Security.
- UniFi Identity Enterprise: Enable "Allow third-party NFC cards" in Identity Enterprise Manager > Services > Door Access > Advanced.
- To assign NFC cards:
- UniFi Access: Go to your Access application > Users.
- UniFi Identity Enterprise: Go to your Identity Enterprise Manager > Organizations > Members.
- Multiple NFC cards can be assigned to a single user. However, NFC cards are assigned to one site.
PINs
Admins can specify PIN length and complexity requirements, randomize the keypad layout, and assign one PIN for each user. Users can access doors assigned to them by entering their PINs on a UA Pro or G2 Pro during the specified schedule.
Notes
- For enhanced security, we suggest you use long, complex PINs, and enable "Randomize Keypad Layout“.
- Changing the PIN's length will remove all users' PINs.
To allow users to unlock doors with PINs, ensure that:
- You have a UA Pro or G2 Pro.
- You have enabled the PIN access method. See Enable Door Access Methods for details.
