Direct PoE Connection
UniFi Access uses direct Power over Ethernet (PoE) connections to simplify and strengthen the power supply for most Access Control Hubs and all Access Readers. This approach eliminates separate power cables, reducing installation complexity and failure points. PoE ensures a seamless, uninterrupted power supply even in challenging conditions.
UniFi Access Readers must connect directly to Access Control Hubs to unlock doors.
