Notes

Owner Requests an MFA Method Reset

The workspace owner's MFA request is automatically evaluated by UniFi Identity Enterprise's security scoring mechanism. The score is determined by the accuracy of the information and actions the owner provides and completes. The higher the score is, the more likely the owner's MFA reset request will be approved.

  1. Go to the Identity Enterprise sign-in page.
  2. Enter your account and password.
  3. Click Reset MFA Method on the sign-in page to initiate the MFA reset request. A verification code will be sent to your email address.
  4. Enter the verification code on the verification page.
  5. Verify your identity via other factors.
    • If you do not remember the answers to other factors, click Skip to go to the next step.
    • The more factors you complete, the more likely your MFA reset request will be approved.
  6. In the Verify your information page, enter the required information and click Next.
  7. In the Verify your applications page, select the applications you most frequently use and click Next.
    • If you have never used the listed applications, click None of the above > Next.
    • If you are not sure which applications you use most frequently, click Skip.
  8. In the Ask 2 users to help you page, share the confirmation code with two users in any method and ask them to send the code to your UniFi Identity Enterprise account via Kudos within 10 minutes.
    • If there are no other users in your workspace or if you cannot find any user to send the code, click Skip.
    • To send Kudos:
      • Via the Identity Enterprise mobile app:
        1. Ask the users to launch their Identity Enterprise mobile app.
        2. Tap Directory at the bottom-right corner.
        3. Search your name and tap Add Kudos.
