UniFi Identity Enterprise - Set Up One-Click WiFi in the Legacy User Interface
One-Click WiFi provides 802.1X authentication for users to connect to WiFi. With the leading WiFi 6 technology, you can enjoy a fast and secure wireless connection provided by UniFi Identity Enterprise.
UniFi Identity Enterprise Guest WiFi provides a simplified solution for issuing visitor access credentials that your non-IT admins may easily utilize to prevent visitors from accessing the internal network.
With the combination of WiFi activity reports and WiFi Experience Score (WES), your IT admins can quickly identify the issues and troubleshoot them at the earliest time.
Note: UniFi Identity Enterprise currently does not support IPv6 networks.
Add and Set Up One-Click WiFi
If you enable the One-Click WiFi service during Identity Enterprise Agent installation, it will be automatically deployed once the Identity Enterprise Agent is installed. If the One-Click WiFi service is disabled, you must add and set it up manually.

UniFi Identity Enterprise WiFi Band: UniFi AP currently supports two frequency bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. In the near future, we will launch the U6-Enterprise, which will support the upcoming 6 GHz standard and provide the fastest possible WiFi speed. Here's an explanation of the two frequency bands:
- 2.4 GHz: Delivers slower speeds and is more prone to interference, but can broadcast signals over longer distances due to better penetration through solid objects.
- 5 GHz: Delivers faster speeds and has less network congestion because there are more available channels. However, some older devices may not be compatible with this band.
- Security Protocol: UniFi Identity Enterprise currently supports WPA-2 Enterprise and WPA-3 Enterprise.
- Enable the IoT WiFi and Guest WiFi and configure their settings as needed.
- Click Continue > OK.
