UniFi Gateway - IGMP Proxy (IPTV)
The IGMP Proxy feature allows you to forward IPTV multicast traffic from your ISP on the WAN to one or more devices on the LAN. This feature is useful when the ISP modem/router has been replaced by the UniFi Gateway, but there is an IPTV box on the LAN that still needs to communicate with the ISP.
Requirements
How Does it Work?
From the Network settings, enable the IGMP Proxy feature and specify the IPTV Source and one or more Viewing Network(s).
- IPTV Source - The WAN interface that connects to the ISP that sends the IPTV traffic.
- Viewing Network - The virtual network that contains the IPTV box that receives the traffic.
