UniFi MAC IDs and Date Codes

The MAC ID is a unique number used to identify your devices. The Date Code is a number corresponding to the date that a particular device was produced and tested. Both of these can be found printed on the back, or underside of your Ubiquiti devices. These can also be found on the outside of a product box.

Using the Date Code - The first two numbers indicate the test year, and the last two indicate the week of the year. The above product was tested in the 12th week of 2022.

Using the MAC ID - In addition to being used as a unique identifier for your device, the MAC ID is required when submitting a warranty return via rma.ui.com

Note: If your device doesn't have a MAC ID, you may be required to supply the Serial Number (S/N).
